As pioneers in lymphatic dermatology, Professor Dr. Michael Detmar, MD. and Dr. Epameinondas Gousopoulos, MD-PhD. have been instrumental in developing treatments for conditions ranging from lymphedema to wound healing.
Amongst their world-first discoveries was the role played by age and external factors including stress, inflammation and UV light in the degradation of the lymphatic system.
